Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Purpose: Due to the continued success of Millboard we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a proven Digital Marketing Manager. With a clear focus on ‘Digital Transformation’ we are looking to excel in areas including, but not limited to e-commerce. As Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the creation of digital marketing strategies predominantly in the UK but also globally supporting out network of Global Distributors and experience in this area is imperative. These strategies will be aligned to the overarching Marketing and Business Strategy for Millboard and deliver all major digital projects for the business.

Scope: The candidate must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking as well as a hands-on approach, delivering tactics on a daily basis. Reporting directly to the UK and Ireland Marketing Director, the candidate is required to manage the delivery of all digital marketing activity for Millboard. Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive and deliver the digital marketing strategy and plans for Millboard
  • Own and deliver all digital marketing projects aligned to the Business and Marketing Strategy
  • Improve global brand alignment through quality control and consistency with UK and Export partners
  • Manage the digital aspects of our brand guidelines for both UK and Export
  • Manage and implement website content and functionality
  • Manage and implement digital content - social media and online / offline PR – blogs, video content, retargeting
  • Manage and implement SEO, AdWords, Paid Social and Organic Social
  • Manage online digital tools – online calculator, visualiser, where to buy and sample ordering
  • Manage our customer Partner Portal including content updates, online training and tools
  • Internal communications, identify what would enhance our internal comms from a digital perspective i.e. intranet and manage the development and implementation
  • Manage the digital side of any marketing campaigns
  • Project management of new and innovative digital projects aligned to the Marketing Strategy
  • Implement customer related digital requirements such as merchant online listings
  • Create online social content e.g. case studies/referrals, website / blog, online advertising, emails and product information
  • Digital management of loyalty scheme
  • Report and measure on all activity to ensure success is measured and learnings taken
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity using web / social media
  • Work with internal IT & Systems team
  • Management of domains and online IP
  • Additional duties as assigned

Person Specification:

The competencies listed are appropriate to the Digital Marketing Manager and are an illustration of the qualities that the Company requires: -

  • Previous experience in-house delivering digital strategy and implementing plans
  • Relevant marketing qualification, degree or equivalent
  • Experience of content management systems and email marketing software
  • E-commerce experience, set-up and management
  • Strong measurement and reporting skills that demonstrate activity ROI
  • Strong experience of Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and social media platforms
  • Website development experience would be advantageous
  • Customer focused with the ability to understand customer needs and develop ideas to translate these into engaging online activities
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • The job holder should be analytical, commercially astute, self-reliant and with the ability to work on their own initiative and within a team environment
  • Strong planning, organisation and communication skills are essential
  • Strong written skills including the ability to consider the appropriate tone for the audience
